Kitchen care comes in two formats. Dish wash liquid (HSN 3402 50) is sold in bottles for households and in cans and drums for restaurants and caterers. Dish wash bars and tubs (3401 19) remain popular where dishes are scrubbed by hand with a pad, and they are classified as soap, not as detergent. Many importers start with one liquid and one bar in the fragrances their market already knows, such as lemon and lime, then add pack sizes once the first order sells.
Both formats can share a 20 ft or 40 ft container with products from the other ranges, and the mix is confirmed when we quote. Before you order, read our guide on how to import dish wash liquid from India, which covers costs, minimum quantities, documents and shipping step by step, and the private-label guide if you plan to sell under your own brand.
The cleaning chemistry is similar. A gel is simply thickened to a higher viscosity, which many shoppers read as stronger and more economical, while a thin liquid pours faster and suits refill pouches and bulk dispensing. Either can be supplied in the fragrances and active levels you choose.
Buyer FAQ
A bar is a solid, so it ships with little water and keeps well, and many households use it as a low-cost option with a scrubber. Liquid is faster to use and foams more, but costs more per wash in most markets. Importers often stock both for different price tiers.
