Toilet / Bath Soap Exporter & Supplier from India
Toilet soap, also called bath soap, is a solid cleansing bar made by saponifying fats and oils, used for washing the face and body. It is graded mainly by Total Fatty Matter (TFM), which indicates how much true soap the bar contains. GoodBiz Hygiene sources toilet soap in several TFM grades from vetted Indian manufacturers for export.

Product overview
Toilet soap is the most widely traded personal wash product in the world, and demand stays steady in markets where bar soap remains the main way families bathe. A good toilet soap lathers quickly, rinses clean, leaves the skin comfortable and keeps its shape through the shower. These qualities come from the soap base, the quality of fragrance and the finishing process, which together decide whether a bar sits at the economy, mid-range or premium shelf.
GoodBiz Hygiene, a GoodBiz Global company, is a merchant exporter from India that places toilet soap orders with vetted manufacturers. We do not run soap lines ourselves. Instead we source toilet and bath soap from vetted Indian manufacturers, check the specification against your requirements and handle export documentation and shipping as a single point of contact.
Grades and formulations
Soap grade is mostly a question of Total Fatty Matter. Economy bars (Grade 3) typically sit at 60% TFM or above and use a blend of palm-based and other fats with fillers that keep cost down. Grade 1 premium bars typically reach 76% TFM or more, with Grade 2 at 70% or more; they give a denser bar and a richer, creamier lather, and last longer in use. Most importers choose a premium grade for the main brand and an economy grade for a value line.
Fragrance is the biggest differentiator at the shelf. Popular choices include rose, sandal, lemon and fresh citrus, jasmine, an aqua or sport fresh profile, and milk and almond for a softer positioning. An unperfumed white bar is also available for buyers who want a neutral base. Colour can be matched to your brand and pack design.
Packaging for export
Bars normally leave the line in printed flow wrap or a folding carton, then travel as three- or four-bar multipacks for supermarket shelves. Master cartons hold 48 to 144 bars depending on bar weight. Because the bar is dense, a 20 ft container tends to reach its weight limit before its volume limit, so the container counts above are conservative. Unwrapped bars in bulk cartons can be supplied if you have your own wrapping machines, and a loading plan can be arranged once pack sizes are fixed.
Private label options
A distributor with its own bath-soap brand can choose the wrapper design, bar weight, fragrance and colour from the manufacturer’s current range. Embossing the brand on the bar needs a die, so it carries a one-time cost and a higher minimum run. Most buyers first approve a hand-made sample, then a wrapped pre-production bar, before bulk starts. Lead time is typically 3-5 weeks after order confirmation, longer if new printed film is needed.
Why source through GoodBiz Hygiene
For a toilet soap programme the real work is matching TFM grade, fragrance and bar weight to a shelf price, and that comparison is easier through one export partner than through several factory quotations. GoodBiz Hygiene can line up two or three TFM grades side by side so you can see what each price point buys. FOB, CIF and CFR are available; payment terms are agreed per order (T/T or LC). Shipments leave from major Indian ports. The HSN code shown is the 6-digit level, and the full 8-digit ITC-HS code is confirmed for each order. Send your target retail price, bar weight and preferred scents and we will come back with grade options.
Before you compare quotations, read bath soap grades explained to see what Grade 1, Grade 2 and TFM mean on a specification. Herbal, glycerin, antibacterial and hotel bars are in the same bath and personal soaps range.

What TFM grades of toilet soap can you supply?
Typical grades follow the reference tiers: 76% TFM or more for Grade 1 (premium), 70% or more for Grade 2 and 60% or more for Grade 3 (economy). The final grade, fragrance and bar weight are agreed with the manufacturer against your price point and market preferences before the order is confirmed.
Buyer FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum order: trial orders and part loads are quoted per order. Mixed loads that combine several fragrances, bar weights or other GoodBiz Hygiene products can often be arranged, though each private-label design may carry its own minimum.
Buyer FAQ
Can I put my own brand on the soap?
Yes. Private label is available, including your wrapper or carton artwork, fragrance, colour and bar size. Artwork approval and sample production are completed before bulk production starts.
Buyer FAQ
Which documents are provided with a shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin are standard. A product specification sheet and a certificate of analysis (COA) per batch can be requested, and an MSDS is available on request. Other documents are confirmed per order.
Buyer FAQ
What is the shelf life of toilet soap?
Typically 24 to 36 months in sealed wrappers when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exact shelf life depends on the formulation and is stated on the specification for your order.
